Work has started on the next version of nanobot. This will once again be a full rewrite in order to be able to comply with some of the feature requests.
Update: Because of issues with Perl (most notibly a threading memory leak), the rewrite will be done in Ruby instead.
Update: Beta release of the bot + core & help plugins are ready.
Update: Beta releases for several other plugins added.

Linux VM for schools
We've launched a pilot project today (Nov. 29th 2011).
Teachers will be able to use this virtual server for a limited time under their full control in order to provide a live teaching environment, and have access to an interface to easily add student accounts.
This project will allow schools and organizations worldwide to offer real experience with a Linux system in their classes, when they don't have the resources to set up their own environments.

SiteSpy Project is broken.
Mixed feelings today, as we realized that our SiteSpy project no longer works.
The JavaScript trick that it uses has been patched out by all the major browsers.
Though it still works on older browsers, newer ones will simply lie about the current style property. This means that our project died, but we did help make browsers a little more secure in the end.
